What to Search for When Picking a Hotels in Atlanta GA

Finding a great hotel when you’re visiting in Atlanta GA isn’t actually effortless, because there is so much choice! Sure, you can decide upon something out of the same Atlanta guidebook which everybody and their uncle has purchased for the past few years, but that does not imply you’ll have a very high-quality experience (the truth is, it might nearly ensure a bad one!). Instead, it’s actually a smart idea to do a touch of homework, making use of your good friend the Internet. Locals will always be aware of the best hotels in their own city, just what the best rooms are, and the good days to go to their favourite parts of the city. However, you should not be going up to anybody you happen across in the airport in Atlanta, demanding their guidance. So instead, we’ve collected a quick list of our 3 favourite hotels in Atlanta for you. They are the ones we recommend to our family and friends when they return to visit – but since we do not want you to believe we’re merely being biased, the following are the comparisons from Yelp.com:

1. Artmore Hotel

Atlanta, GA 30309
Neighborhood: Midtown

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Artmore Hotel for two nights during the Fourth of July weekend. We’re from Atlanta, but recently relocated, and needed a central place to crash in the city. The Artmore was such a pleasant surprise! I’d seen it many times when I lived in Atlanta, but, of course, never had a reason to stay there.

Almost everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel is in a great location – across the street from the Arts Center MARTA station and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and Atlantic Station. The rooms are very spacious and have a wet bar area equipped with a mini fridge and sink. There’s even a courtyard area where you can lounge. Oh, and the price – excellent!

The only downsides… Walls are kind of thin, and you can hear noise from the hallways – kind of annoying at 3:00 am. Also, breakfast is just okay. It was included in our rate, but it normally costs $10. Unless it’s included in your rate, skip their breakfast and go down the street to one of the local eateries.

Simply wonderful. I booked The Mansion in preparation for proposing to my girlfriend. After booking, I received an email from the concierge congratulating me on my plans and asking was there anything they could do to assist. From the valet to the doorman to checking in, everything was ABOVE par. The room was amazing. I’m not a huge bathroom fan but the spacious layout even made me take notice. After I popped the question (she said yes!), we had drinks at the downstairs lounge which had live music playing. You could tell people not staying at the hotel came in to check out the lounge. Breakfast at the restaurant the next morning was delicious. Upon checkout, the front desk checked with me to find out the answer. The excellent customer service displayed during my visit showed The Mansion was committed to setting themselves above other hotels.

3. Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta
75 14th St
Atlanta, GA 30309
Neighborhood: Midtown

Excellent hotel in a great location! The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, the bathtubs can accomodate a princess and a pirate comfortably, they use l’occitane products and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Trois, South City Kitchen, Fuego and Vickery’s and a very short drive to all the other fun spots and great restaurants in Midtown.

There are several rooms on the fifth floor that open onto a large terrace. On the down side, these are smoking optional rooms. On the upside, the terrace has many great uses.
